Since Adam and Eve were the first persons on Earth and humans came from Africa it stands to reason they were black. If they were made in Gods' image was he black too? Comments?
The name Adam means "man...of the red earth." It is likely that both Adam and Eve had high levels of "pheomelanin" in their skin....they were red. God is a Spirit...assigning God a skin color is a vain attempt to create God in one's own image.

Interesting, never heard that interpretation of Adam before. In Arabic it means "First Man" according to my Jewish friends in Hebrew it means "First Hebrew"

It does. There is also a similar etymology implying Red (as the colour of blood). While earth can often look reddish, there is no etymological reason to combine the term to mean '(man of) red earth'.

...there is always an etymological reason to combine terms..."qhipay Ari"..."ari qquepan"... qhipaya ari "or" Ariq qipa 'ari... qhipaya...Arequipa.

Adam is a Hebrew word that means Red! Adam was formed out of red clay.
First you have to carefully read the text of Genesis and understand what you are reading before you can come up with this incredible assumptions
The bible was written to a people of middle east descent; We have no comprehension of what all of their customs were.
But by using certain "tools" we can gain a glimpse into their (different) world!
Those basic tools would be a good concordance and a good bible dictionary.
God made man in his image; He had nothing what so ever in all of his creation to compare man with. The only thing was to compare us with himself. We were made in His likeness.
So no, according to the Bible, Adam and Eve were not African.
But then, the Adam and Eve story is metaphor, not science. Not to be taken literally. It's meant to convey that all men are brothers, created by the same God.
1) I respect your inclination to separate the bible from science.
2) You've referenced a fundamentalist's bible interpretation to defend that the Adam and Eve story is not to be taken literally, but everything about the garden of Eden is, which can in turn reliably inform us about the origin of our species. I hope I don't have to point out the irony there.
3) The first genetically distinct homo sapiens would have been dark-skinned Africans. This is also to say that there were NO first humans. According to the most basic proposition of evolution, organisms are continuously transitioning. Just as you cannot pinpoint the exact minute of your life during which you become "old," you cannot pinpoint a pair of first humans.

As for God, he is spirit, without skin. So he doesn't have a skin color.
Some interpret "made in the image of God" as meaning that man, like God, also has a spiritual side (a soul). Others interpret it to mean that man, like God, has "intellect, will, and emotion."
Scientifically, there is both a genetic Eve and an Adam. Eve lived in southern Africa about the time of the Great Squeeze, when some ninety percent of the human species died out due to a planet wide natual disastor, likely a 'nuclear winter' caused by volcanic activity. Every single living human is descended from this one woman.
A long time later, a single male in Eastern Africa became the single male which is the genetic grandfather of humanity. This is during another near extinction event.
The significance is these two individuals provided dna which carried strong enough genes that there are all of us.
Adam and Eve is used as a nod to the bibical story, but these two individuals were milenia apart.
