While incredibly sacrilegious, every time my eyes fall upon this thread on the board I think of the flash game "Bible Fight." If you've never heard of it, google away and prepare to be deeply offended. It is basically a "Street Fighter" type game featuring biblical characters as the combatants...not the spirit of the game you're looking to create, I suspect.
Have any of you guys ever played The Stanley Parable? You should, seriously. It brings to life so many religious/philosophical/psychological questions. It can't tell you about it really, because if I do, it will alter your outcomes in the game. You just have to play it!
If you play it, post what you did and what you think of it.
I think I'll take a look at that once I have some extra time. It sounds interesting.

Thanks.
Hehe, no I'm more interested in making an interactive adventure game, that kept to the Biblical storyline and would make it challenging. It hard to make a great game when you already know the outcome. It's like movie games. They never really do great, however any game that has great graphics and a great musical score, half the battle is already won. Then I would have games that have a Biblical background, and those games would have the most freedom in directing a plot.
So we could have a videogame where one plays God, and create their own universe or worlds.
Well, I'm a software developer, so I get paid to be in the role of creator every day of my life. My father was a mechanic and couldn't bring himself to maintain his own car after a long work day, and I'm the same way ... it is tiring creating stuff all day, and I must rest. Unlike BibleGod I can't go 6 days without rest ;-)

That game cracked me up so much, thanks for sharing it. It is really sacrilegious, but that's what makes it funny.
Mordant, you have time to play this one, it only takes like 10 minutes to fully enjoy it.
Grandstander, Stronghold Crusaders was a good game. It's an old one though. We played it when we were in elemantary school and me and my brother used to chase each other around the house with pillows and yell "Your chicken feed" and "We are the macemen". Sometimes we still do that. JK
