Actually this is NOT a good example of a typical debate, because Comfort produced a dishonest video, cutting very important parts where his opponents answered his questions thoroughly. However, it IS a good example of how Comfort distorts his opponents arguments.
Comfort is an idiot. And the atheist he's "debating" appears fairly clueless, tongue-tied, and obviously uncomfortable with a camera in his face.
He seems like that at the beginning, because Ray is asking him meaningless questions like "How do you know that every painting has a painter?" in an effort to try and trap him into saying something that can be construed as an acknowledgement of God's existence. Later in the video he's more composed and completely annihilates all Ray's arguments, comes off as way more informed than Ray is.

Well, then, maybe I'll give it another go and skip past the first bit.
Heroically, I mustered the tattered remnants of my intestinal fortitude and hurled myself back into the video.
Alas, at the 6:30 mark, my gorge began to rise dangerously and I had to stop.
Comfort is indeed a moron. And this guy has followers?
He not only has followers, he's emulated. Comfort stated to Matt Dillahunty recently that he's not interested in debating evolution or science, he is only interested in converting his opponent to Christianity.
I saw this video before and I agree that at least as edited, the atheist is clearly not on his best game and probably not that experienced in debating theists. For one thing he seems surprised and confused at the lack of intellectual integrity and rigor and fairness, as if he's never seen such things before. I didn't get all the way through it either; neither debater struck me as effective.
LOL. We "Evolutionists" have more Faith than Ray Comfort!?
I thought faith was a virtue. I guess Ray doesn't think so anymore. Evolutionists don't think faith is a virtue, they think that skepticism and critical thinking are the virtue.
It seems our supposed "Pillars of Salt, and Pillars of Sand" are simply in greater quantity than Ray's supposed "solid foundation of choosing to believe in 'Jesus' no matter what" can wash away.
