BUT it does surprise me that Christianity says God makes/allows bad things to happen to good people who do things right. Like the story of Job.. God controls everything, all single details in anyone's life, and does whatever He wants.. I guess this part of teaching actually has its own unique historical background - for the low rank of Caste in ancient Isreal.

Of course, in real world, bad things can happen to good people , dependent upon causes and effects of people's deeds , surrounding subjective and objective factors.
But, to compare apple to apple ( talking about religious beliefs ):
> if a religion recommends the god makes happen by his will doing whatever he wants, regardless how people do, then it's definitely an evil religion.
> if the god in a religion does not make it , it's good religion.
If a god torture people for no reason , for doing whatever he wants to do, playing people's fates, and the religion says " torture is good for you ", it's the religion for masochism
The "solely one god " religions like Islam, Christian, were origined at the dessert of West Asia ( Middle-East ) during old time, created by the religions leaders at that time in that area , using a fierce and cruel god to be their protector and the tool of threating and controlling people..
Why that area tends to create such religion such god ???
