I love how Christians enjoy seeing people butchered by a plague.
Interestingly, the first few Americans to contract ebola, were Christian missionaries trying to impose their seed upon the people of Africa.
Don't paint everyone with a broad brush. Most Christians don't think this way. It's like saying atheists are murderous dictators at heart based on kim Jong un.
We are free to do as we like. But the results of our decisions need to be seen. They can't be magically swept under the rug. We must have a chance to see what the result of what sin will do especially if we decide to not believe what God has given light about. Parents can't allow their children to continue doing wrong without allowing them to pay the price for that wrong action. Neither can they always impose their will on that child never allowing that child to make their own choice. So to with God. All of what He is allowing to decide will come down to how we will decide when He comes to take His own to live with Him forever or to cease from existence.
It might be helpful if you would even attempt to substantiate the claim there even IS a god before you start proposing to tell us what it does, says, or thinks.
Actually, I wonder if Christians have this all the wrong way around. Maybe God is sending all these disasters as a way of warning Christians to be more tolerant of other people. Maybe those of us who aren't Christians aren't really the target.
There are things a mature person says and there are things we just do not say . Rick Wiles' statement is an example of what one does not say . It is a poor witness to unbelievers . Only God knows why plagues like Ebola effect society but it is not for human beings to make rash judgments like the one he has made . His words are harsh ....no grace there .
Rick needs to be more careful in his statements .
End Times radio host Rick Wiles said that an outbreak of Ebola in the U.S. might actually be a good thing if it ends up giving an “attitude adjustment” to all the gays and atheists, along with people who use pornography or have had an abortion, who will die if they aren’t “protected by God.”
What a nut job. The sad thing is he must have the ears of some.
