I gather you believe either that your god existed forever or that he came into being from 'nothing'.
I happen to believe that energy, neutrons, protons,electrons other galaxies and other such things have always existed. Those things were the 'source'.
Faith is a matter of the heart involving a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Superstitions do not involve the heart or Jesus.
So you are essentially saying that if you have a group of nonsense you can separate them into two groups of nonsense distinguished merely my which ones your are emotionally invested in.
I guess this could be a workable definition. Friday 13th fear.... superstitious unsubstantiated nonsense....... thinking there is a god.... emotional attachment to the idea..... faith based unsubstantiated nonsense....
