What kind of church would you go to in order to engage in prayer, maybe even praise? But not a church that has a fundamentalist/conservative view of the Bible. Are there even any churches like this?
I know about various beliefs of different religions, but I'm just wondering if any liberal religions are also charismatic?
"Liberal" and "charismatic" (as in, the charismatic movement) don't go together so far as I am aware. Not officially. There are charismatic factions within some liberal (relative to fundamentalism) denominations; for example, charismatic Catholics. There are masses celebrated in the US with guitar and kum-by-yah sentiment also; that was borne out of a desire for "relevance" to go along with the introduction of the mass being said in English some decades back. I have heard of "praise music" like this in Catholic, Episcopalian and other less "high church" yet mainline denominations. Sometimes with some "soft core" charismatic aspects to it, sometimes not.
By and large though to believe in the charismata you have to take a pretty literal interpretation of scripture because at the end of the day, the charismatic movement is based on a very literal interpretation of a couple of half-verses in the book of Acts, in order to create a "second" personal experience of god in the form of the holy spirit's infilling, evidenced by the "gift of tongues".

Thanks for any info.
If you have a problem with the idea of a church teaching the Word of God as it's written, why would you want to worship the God that said it? I struggle to understand that.

Your struggles to understand are legion . . . but the ONLY Word of God that exists is Jesus Christ and He abides with us under the New covenant to guide us to the truth God has "written in our hearts" in agape love so we would not need anyone to teach us. We simply test the Spirit against agape love to know if it is of God and Jesus.

I believe in God and I do not attend any church. I also would not call myself very religious. I don't think you need church/religion to have a relationship with God. One does not even need the Bible to know God and have a relationship with God.
I also do not believe that churches teach the true word of God, sadly. Well, at least not the true word of the God I know and love and am in awe of (I am not a big fan of the word worship).

I don't go to church, but I like attending Divine Love spiritual retreats with two prayer circles each day with everybody praying for God's Divine Love.
I've been to several retreats the past few years and just attended one in the Washington, DC area in early September. It was awesome!
