That's rather pompous of you Vizio, I have 3 children who I've rarely had to even raise my voice with, and none of them act like spoiled rotten brats. They have no examples of rotten adults in their lives to follow suit.
Spare the rod has been taken literally by thousands of Theists, I can post video after video of people actually using rod like instruments striking their kids on here if you need it. I'm glad to see that you don't, but let's not lump all Theists together or paint them with a broad brush, I hear they don't like it.
I don't think of any children as "rotten" for one. Rotten insinuates that child is a lost cause. You can teach your children a lot of lessons by just simply teaching them, it doesn't all come from discipline.
Why do Theists children require so much discipline?
I think it tells more about the parent than the children. The parent enjoys being the mini God of the home maybe? Rules the roost? We are all equal at my house, just because some are younger doesn't mean they are any less of person, they just have more to learn. They get equal say in most household decisions, how else do you learn to make them?
