Hello TrickyD! Haven't seen you since the Pink Bunny Bus threads.

It IS pointless when you have heard the same old arguments OVER AND OVER since 1990. TrickyD, back then, you were just a cute little boy running around in superman pajamas with feet on them!

Nothing like hearing those arguments face to face!

You may not believe me but I haven't changed much in my way of thinking since the age of 7. It is just that I can express myself more eloquently than when I was 7.
You'd be surprised by what I think is old (or new).
I often have the feeling that the more things change the more they stay the same.
In fact I have often been depressed in the past because I saw no change; people keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
Nowadays I just accept that, but am able the stay hopeful and that change is possible.

At one time, I gave one of the other posters carte blanche to come down to Texas and shoot me if I ever posted on a thread about homosexuality again. Thankfully, he didn't take me seriously because I did indeed get sucked into the debate again on a few occasions...

The real reason that people insist on talking about this subject is that it's the only way they can even hint at something sexual with out feeling dirty.

Conversation about regular, plain old sex between opposite sexes is a no-no and nice people mustn't to that. However, you can talk and speculate about gay and lesbisn sex all you want to and even feel pious and holy while you do. There is even a good chance that your minister might preach about it on Sunday. But not the ordinary kind. NEVER!

(And if anyone misses the point here.....It's sarcastic. But I think there may be a grain of truth lurking too.)

LoL I think of sex all the time, (okay, maybe only most of the time).
I just don’t talk about it in public or with strangers, since it could offend people.
But my humour often gravitates towards sex.

Huh? I was am of those people who didn't mind always answering the same questions.
Nor do I believe that my actions don't have any affect on the 'other' side.
Because as long as I find the subject of the conversation (in this case post) interesting, I don't mind repeating myself over and over.

I'm sorry Tricky. It was actually meant to sort of/but not really be a joke. Didn't mean to ruffle your leathers. I actually understand your POV in continueing to beat the dead horse. I guess it's possible that it could tenderize the meat. However my motto is, "never wrestle with a pig, you will only get dirty and the pig likes it."

Now, back to what you were saying...

I start reading those gay threads but they are so repetitious and boring I soon move on. There are far more important things to concern myself about here than whipping that old horse.
