Just like you, I am also a gay man. I used to go to church every Sunday, and consider myself a good Christian. In the last 10 years it seems to me that Christians are waging a war with the gays. Some of the most hurtful things I have heard have been from the mouth's Christians. They seem to think that being gay is sin number one! You only have to look at what some of the so-called Christians have posted on here to see what I'm talking about. Just like you I was born gay, it was nothing I chose, why would I want to break my parents hearts? I don't think God made you and I that way as some type of sick joke, do you?
There are a lot of churches you can attend that will except you as being gay and a Christian. You have nothing to be ashamed of, God loves you. I do not think he wants to see you unhappy or alone.
Agreed! My choice in the matter was, never mention to anyone that I was gay and live a lonely life of misery, or choose to live my life in love, creating my own family and happiness. I chose love.
I find it sad that people allow man-made religion to live contrary to their nature. If anti-gay Christians truly cared about gay people, they should accept them as they are and show them how to live a better life within their true sexual orientation.
What you are advocating is the same as handling it himself. If a man can have detached unemotional mechanical sex with a wife, he can do it all by himself. There is no need to condemn a woman to a passionless marriage as a masturbatory aid to a man. Ridiculous...

Didn't Jesus teach that any man who looked at a woman lustfully had already committed adultery with her in his heart? Why does gay sex get singled out as an unforgivable sin?

Who here is claiming such? I have said numerous times in this thread sin is sin. ALL Christians must cease from living a sinful lifestyle regardless of whatever sin that might be.

Assuming you are heterosexual MEDALLOKUYA, I ask you if you would have no problem committing yourself to a duplicitous lifelong sexual relationship with someone of your same sex if that would 'save your soul'?

No one is saying this would be easy or not problematic. Would be quite difficult to pull off. Would take a lot of perseverance, sacrifice and conditioning of the mind.
Now would I be able to do it? If I couldnt refrain from masturbation and gay sex, I would make the effort to be with someone of the same sex and to live a life God would approve of.
At the end of the day, we are talking about someone's eternal destination, ie heaven or hell.
I would do everything humanely possible to avoid the ladder. Life on earth is but a blink of the eye in relation to eternity.

A god that would demand a duplicitous, loveless marriage, who would would condone using a real live woman with here own mind and emotions as a masturbatory aid to avoid eternal torment is a god not worth worshiping. If that god is real, I hope that I will have the personal integrity to hold my head high, and spit in its face as I am condemned to hell.

No woman deserves to be treated like this, and no man should do this to himself or another person.

You do realize there are different kinds of love? I do not recommend having a "loveless" marriage.
A gay man could treat a women 1000x better than an inconsiderate ahole.
