Nazareth did not exist until the 4th. century. The mother of Constantine, Helena traveled to the holy land in search of relics. And found no Nazareth. She did come upon a well and called it the well where Mary was told of her impending pregnancy. Helena then built a church next to the well. And so was Nazareth born. Also there is no Nazareth on any of the previous century's pilgrimage maps. Nazareth is never once mentioned in the old testament, or in the Talmud. Paul not once mentions a town of Nazareth. In the third century the church father Origen who lived in Caesarea about thirty miles from where the town stands today wrote he had no idea where the town was.
