What sort of math did Noah have to invent to ensure his sturdy vessel could endure the rigors of a three hour to...erm I mean a forty day one?

There's a whole article dedicated to this topic at RationalWiki:

Global flood - RationalWiki

It's a good article. Gets into a detailed analysis of why the story is impossible. Then again, if the Abrahamic God can do anything, including suspension of al known laws of physics...

I always recall a thread -discussion on this matter with Eusebius which was very interesting as he played by one rule - the only one I ever got him to accept - you could not waive your problems away with a magic wand. Once God did a miracle, the whole thing became needless. So he had to come up with a provable feasibility hypothesis for making the Ark math stack up.

The same Math he used for inventing and designing the first ship in history.

Now, Eusebius would disagree with you there. The story would suggest that shipbuilding was a known art up to fairly big size already. I can assure you that Eusebius already had Noah as a real Bronze age Da Vincent - shipwright, ferro -metallurgist, food preservation expert, bilionaire businessman, vetinary savant.. lucky he didn't have to propose that he invented it all in the first place.

I suggest that in this respect he has shown more savvy that you have and I suggest you go away and have another think.
