Because I can observe the fact that there is persecution of Christians by gay activists.
Tell me Vizio . . . WHAT exactly is the specific harm inflicted on YOU in what you see as the persecution of Christians by gays??? Can you detail the various instances of harm to your life and existence from gays???? I mean surely this persecution inflicts some noticeable harm . . . does it not???Can you give us any specifics????

Why would I want to listen to your opinion of what God said instead of the actual written word of what he has already said?
Why do you insist on telling me what I do? I have no problem with God being active and working today. Even more so, I believe that I have seen his hand at work in my life in many areas.
The fact that Christians are being persecuted today by the homosexual activists tells us that they did not learn a valuable lesson.

You bind God in a teeny-tiny- book, and think that is everything there is to know about God, and you could not be more wrong.

But there's hope. They are going to lose their children. Their children have access to the net - or will, eventually - and will learn to discern the false teachings of fundavangelists from the truth of reality.
Biblical literalists are losing. And will continue to lose.

My brothers and I (all raised in orthodox Christianity) came to the conclusion that all god-claims are equally unsubstantiated. Not all former fundamentalists will embrace other religions.
I catch a lot of flack from liberal religious types for my atheism, in addition to the usual fire-and-brimstone crap from fundamentalists.

Because it is not found anywhere in the Bible, and God's commands are strict about Monotheism.
