If you oppose gay marriage on religious grounds, would you change your mind?

Just curious.

And if he said it wasn't OK, what would you do then?

The same thing I do with all other religious thoughts....ignore everything, roll my eyes, and focus on the real world around us.

Well... first I would ask for two forms of id and maybe a miracle or two. Then we would sit down and discuss the issue.

If Jesus, the Son of God came down to Earth and said that homosexual acts were, in fact, moral then I would have serious issues with a hypocritical God. It wouldn't make any sense if God's nature is still constant to betray that. It would be similar to Jesus coming to Earth to tell me that squares are round.

In other words, you only agree with a God who hates the same people you do.

Might as well ask "What if Jesus returned and said adultery was ok?"

He has already spoken. It's sinful. God doesn't change. What was immoral and sinful 2000 years ago is sinful today.

Huh?

That's not even remotely what I said.

God's morality is not derived by decree, but flows naturally from His perfect nature. All sin follows this constant. If God arbitrarily decided that a specific sin was now moral, He would be acting against His nature and would cease to be God.
