Now that same sex-marriage is legal in all 50 states, who will be the next minority that Fundamentalist Christians rail against?

Who knows?

I'm just excited to see religion taken down one more notch. Keep your faith out of my laws.

Ok, then keep your laws out of my faith. RIP America.

Yes, it definitely should be a lot more peaceful now that we don't have to listen to all the dire warnings about how life in the US is going to just fall apart.
After this has been in effect awhile, you can come here and tell us all about how drastically this has changed your life.

By all means you can keep your faith, but also keep in mind the USA is not a Theocracy.

Atheists and agnostics...not that it would be anything new.

True believers - people who believe in their faith without any doubts, public or private. They are definitely a minority.

Exactly. We have had same sex marriage in Canada for the better part of a decade now, and it hasn't affected our society one bit other than giving equal rights to those who are inclined to love people of the same gender.

It certainly hasn't affected me, as a heterosexual. Didn't increase my taxes, it didn't change how I drive, where I hunt, what river I float, what mountain I climb, or which gun I shoot.

We still have that silly creation science museum in our village, and the Evangelical Free Church members are still free to worship as they will.

For those of you in backwoods USA who still think that same sex marriage is going to cause doom and gloom in your society, you're wrong. For those of you who attend that mega church near my condo in Tampa Florida, no change for you either.

I get to see the best and the worst of both countries, as I spend half my time in each. I look forward to going to my friend's same sex marriage when she marries her partner this coming February in St. Petersburg.
