Nope. People hate and devalue religion when they are no longer "weak and susceptible". They become traumatized when they realize they've been lied to. It makes complete sense that those who are brainwashed to love it don't hate it. Those who remain brainwashed won't hate it.

The other side of the coin is religion - or more specifically spirituality - greatly benefitting many lives. I'd rather go with adding and including to life, than narrowing it though rejection of higher ideals/ways/possibilities. Maybe you're just not up to snuff for a higher way of living.
I'm not sure how much higher your ideals are than mine. Do tell.

Don't shoot the messenger.
Your use of the word "snowflakes" demonstrates your inability to think for yourself. And what does any of that have to do with the price of salvation?

Tell me what I said that is wrong. Can you? Or will you just continue to shoot the messenger? Are you able to think for yourself on it? Or will you just lob insults?

Your continued personal attacks tells me that you have no clue who I am, but you simply object on the basis of religion. That's bigotry. Yay for you.

Wow, you're so welcoming and warm to people. And you accuse others of being traumatizing.

I said religion traumatizes people. You went on a tirade with insults toward "snowflakes" who get participation ribbons since tee-ball who don't know how to blah, blah, blah. It has zero to do with what I said. And the term "snowflake" is not even remotely creative or original. So, no, you clearly can't think for yourself.

Spoken like a true snowflake. When you're smart enough to tell me why I object, or are actually able to identify bigotry, I'll let you know.

I said religion traumatizes people. Religion is a belief system, it's not "others". Some believers are actually decent folk. But why do you think I have to be welcoming and warm to someone who lies? Are you traumatized by this statement too? Do you need a safe space?

when religion traumatizes more people than parents, siblings, friends, lovers, and anti-religious socialism I guess we can talk about a non living thing doing the abusing.

Kinda like talking about the dangers of pogo sticks compared to cars tho.

This ^ coming from someone who rode my ass for almost a week whining about how I wasn't being very nice to him or his religion.

Hypocrite.

If it traumatizes less people than parents, siblings, etc....it still traumatizes, doesn't it? I could argue that religious people are doing the abusing, if that's what you prefer.

So why do you continue to insult and attempt to traumatize others?
