The question isn't "what should you believe."
The real question is "what do you know beyond a reasonable doubt" and "how do you know it".

The question isn't how to be moral.
The real question is how to be civilized.

The question isn't what to do with sinners.
The real question is what to do with criminals and lunatics.

The question isn't whether evolution occurs.
The real question is whether emergence occurs and what are its implications.

The question isnt atheism vs theism.
The real question is black-and-white all-or-nothing thinking vs the middle path

History has shown that the best way to promote a religion is to persecute it.
Rome was tolerant of all religious beliefs except Christianity which it persecuted violently.
Yet in the end it was Christianity that became the state religion of Rome and all the other religions went extinct.

And here is a hint for you:
the Romans were smart enough to know that this would happen.
Atheists are smart enough to know that too.

Are you saying there has to be a middle path rather than just atheism vs theism?
