So I live in South Florida, an area with no shortage of beautiful women, especially those of a Latin flavor. Well when I came here years ago, Jehovah's Witnesses used to come to my door quite often. These were usually older men and/or women.

Well now they have come up with a new tactic. They are sending these attractive women up to people's doors nowadays so now thy are making it hard to slam the door and/or not open it at all. This is just not right! I demand the old hags back!

Here's a thought, don't answer the door to people you don't know. Today it could be the Jehovahs Witnesses, tomorrow it could be someone casing your house to break in.

Just one more difference between men and women, men think with their well you know and women use logic.

In my neighborhood, the bible beaters send their children around because I'm sure they realize that no one is going to be nasty to their children.

So, have you lived in Florida long? I didn't realize that folks walked around the State of Florida discussing religion. It seemed more of an urban exercise.

20 years. Yes, there are still Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons running around the place bothering folks. Their churches are here and there in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

The meaning of religion/life/culture/history/society/civilization?
We are all pagan and the children of God!
Therein lies the middle way?

I'm so glad I live in the middle of a national forest. I haven't had any of them come bother me in four years.

I'm in agreement with steffan above. The "Witnesses" are doing what they believe is right, as Jesus went from town to town to preach. However, they alter the words of the Bible somewhat, and have set questions with obvious answers. There is a script. Throw them off by learning the differences. Read sites like, "Controversies Regarding Johovah's Witnesses", and get in a debate with them. I enjoy discussing my beliefs with them. Where else do I get such an attentive audience to preach. I always end it with, "You need to read that Bible you're carrying around".
