Maybe your right. Maybe I would not be charged with assault, just because I "used as much force as needed to stop a crime from being committed".
Let me be clear. If I saw you using an object on your child while 'disciplining' that child, your arms/legs would be incapable of being used normally for an extended period of time. You would be reaping what you were sowing. Does THAT make it clear?
I have no use for people who abuse their children, and a very short fuse for those that do.
Could you define "object"? What if that object were a soft, fluffy feather pillow?
