How many peer reviewed and published studies disagree with global warming?

Name them. Any of them that are published in accepted and accredited scientific journals. Not opinion pieces, but peer reviewed studies.

BTW, China is taking extreme steps to cut back both their pollution and CO2 emissions. Your comment is so very 2010 and not current.

Don't quote Gore as if he is an authority, which you attempted to do.

Should we start a new thread about climate change? I don't want to go too far off topic in this thread.

New thread started. This thread was originally about Ham's creationist ideas.

He's been the face of the cause for the last what......12-13 years or so? Maybe not quite as much lately...but for awhile he was the guy.

Back when I was still a fundamentalist Christian, I remember being with an evangelical family that specifically said that God would not allow global warming to happen since he was in control. I remember thinking to myself "wow...that's nuts! Do they think that God has a magic thermostat for the earth or something?"

I was getting a degree in meteorology at the time. I guess I had managed to compartmentalize my thinking during that time in my life. I had one way of thinking for religion, and another way of thinking for science.

Now he jumps on what a lot of fundies subscribe to, the "there ain't no climate change man is impacting, so jist keep on prayin' kids" bandwagon.

His blog:

https://answersingenesis.org/blogs/k...nge-alarmists/

The wingnut concludes with:
We donít need to be concerned about drastic climate change. Our climate, and the checks and balances that keep it operating within safe parameters, were designed by an all-wise Creator. And when you start with a biblical view of Earthís history, you reach an entirely different conclusion about the nature and cause of climate change.
Don't worry, be happy was his theme song 20 years ago, I bet.
Actually, though I don't agree with everything Ham says, there was a scientists on t.v. just yesterday saying that the earth has checks and balances built into it and also the sun goes through changes in output as well called 11 year solar cycles.
Not long ago, in the 1800's there was what was called "the little ice age" in Europe. There are paintings of people ice skating on rivers that, according to people's recollections, never iced over before. The earth is dynamic. Humanity won't kill itself off as some alarmist suggest.

I think it might actually be relevant in the way philosophy and scientific method and indeed all the evolution debates are relevant since it is all religion -based denial of something argued by science.
