Supposedly, at some point, Jesus is gonna rule.

And as today was general election, it got me thinking. If God applied as a politician, what would he promise, would he deliver, and would you back him as a candidate?

What an odd thread, but I'm saying that I can't vote for God until he fields a few questions on a chatshow.

You do come up with some funny threads Bulmabriefs.
Shouldn't this be on the Christian forum since isn't it just Christians that equate Jesus with God?

For me I think if Jesus existed at all, he was just a bloke, but a bloke with a good heart.

So I don't know whether to answer this from the standpoint of assuming Jesus was the actual son of god or just a bloke.

I mean, if he was the actual son of god, I'd like to hear what he'd have to say about all the goings-on in the Middle East. I mean, yes from that point of view we'd all elect him wouldn't we? - and tell him to go and sort that lot out. Preferably single-handedly since he's the embodiment of god, so that shouldn't be a problem.

What else can we say politics-wise, since I get the impression politics is a no-no on this forum?
Gun-control / immigration / healthcare / distribution of wealth etc. All sticky topics on here.

I was going to say something about how Republicans would hate the idea but it'll no doubt get deleted so you'll have to use your imagination as to why.

A vote for God is a vote the greatest mass murderer in history. I am afraid I am sitting this election out.
