Eye witness accounts are no more reliable that the eye-witness accounts of Bigfoot, The Loch Ness monster or aliens from outer space.
Wow, you mean you haven't heard?

Archaeologists so far have unearthed the following evidence that proves the Bible is true:
  • A piece of water with Jesus's footprints on it
  • A piece of the burning bush ... and it's still burning
  • tape recordings of the talking snake from Eden who went on to give lectures at the University of Cairo
  • Lot's wife, who later auditioned to be one of the Spice Girls (heh heh heh)
  • An eyeball that was once blind but was magically healed by Jesus
  • A plague boil that fell off someone who, again, was magically healed by Jesus
  • Two thousand year-old fish and loaves containing a faint magical residue suggesting they were poofed into existence straight out of thin air
  • Some weird misty crap inside a bottle that, when opened, killed the first born of every archaeologist at the dig site
  • A staff that turned into a snake
  • Ancient undulating ripples on the surface of the Red Sea suggesting that the waters had been parted some 3,000 years ago
  • Stone tablets with profanity written in 279 different languages, obviously chiseled the very moment everyone realized no one could understand anyone else
  • The ruins of the entire city of Nazareth
  • 5 or 6 different "Spears of Destiny" at at least a hundred splinters from the True Cross of Jesus

I mean, seriously, who wouldn't be a believer after this archaeological haul?

You still wouldn't be convinced. "So what, just because you got splinters from the cross of Christ doesn't mean Christ really lived!!".

Prove it was from the cross of Christ (and that Christ was real, and indeed crucified) and we will talk. Until then.... What archaeological evidence do you have, Jeff? Please, provide us with it. Or are you going to cop out of providing that evidence as well?

I'd put money on it.

Prove to me that Alexander the Great really existed. Again, I presented evidence. It is simply dishonest to say I am copping out because you stubbornly refuse to accept it.

If it could some how be scientifically proven that the splinters really were from Jesus's cross, no, I wouldn't be convinced that Jesus was the Son of God. All it would prove is that Jesus actually existed and that he really was crucified.

However, I would put more stock in the truth of Jesus's life and take it more seriously.

I find it rather irksome, Jeff, when you try to tell me what I would do, say, or think. Why don't you let me speak for myself, okay? How about ASKING me how I would react or what I would think instead of just making these big assumptions on my behalf. You just might be surprised. Thanks in advance.

("You're right, Shirina. I shouldn't take control of you like some kind of puppet and presume to speak for you. My apologies. From now on, I'll ask you what you'd think if, for instance, there were real splinters from the cross of Jesus. Godspeed!")

I am not the one saying he exists, you are. I have seen you post exactly ZERO evidence. Either man up and admit you can't prove it, or give us some evidence. Archaeological evidence is a good start. So.... What are you waiting for?

Just admit it Eusie, you can't PROVE that someone did not exist. You can't even prove Jesus DID live. So stop being a troll and admit it like a man.
There is plenty of evidence that Christ lived. To believe He never did is like people believing the earth is flat or the moon is made of cheese.

So where is the evidence outside of your Bible or other "holy books"? Even if you can prove he did in fact live, you still can't prove he was the son of God.

Typical atheistic smokescreen tactics. Let's obscure the fact that we have no proof of our own assertion by asking you provide verifiable evidence, which you either cannot give because you aren't a researcher/archaeologist. If you can give it, say that isn't verifiable using arbitrary standards of what is verifiable.

Okay then. What would be verifiable evidence for atheism?

There is no verifiable evidence for atheism. On the other hand, God might indeed be a sick God. Which was the topic. Remember?
