I don't ever recall thinking he was an actual real thing.

Just part of a celebration.

I don't see any reason in fooling people into thinking he's an actual real being. It doesn't make it any more or less fun.

I showed you which candidate you could cross off the list of potential Gods.

You should just continue to march stalwartly forward on your uber-Christian path - Fundashield held high - deflecting the light of truth and reality while cowering in the shade of myth and superstition and pretending to be secure in your truthy-book.
