No, that would just be silly Freak! Of course the religion that HE believes in is the true one. Duh!

That's no different from your claim that YOUR belief system is the one true one.

I don't know SB personally, but he/she seems like a skeptic. If so, he/she doesn't have a belief system.

That is the difference between you and I, Viz. I don't claim that. In fact, I claim that I do not know what the "truth" is. However, I do know that your version is either false, or something I want nothing to do with, since your belief system requires you to believe in talking snakes and donkeys, a man living in a fish, worldwide floods, God making bets with the Devil, and other increasingly stupid things. I can't believe in childish things like that, sorry.

You seem bound and determined that there is no God--that you have it figured out and billions of people worldwide that do believe in a deity are wrong.

I'm sorry. I don't buy into your belief system.

Only a relative handful of those billions who believe in a god, believe in the one you tout.

Thankfully.

No, you have me wrong. I am not bound and determined that there is not God. I am simply sure that IF there is a God, it is certainly not yours. In fact, I could not care less whether there is a God or not, as it would change nothing with my life.

My "belief system" is very simple. As summed up by Marcus Aurelius a few thousand years ago

""Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones."

Sorry if this somehow offends you, but if your God is unjust, which he would have to be to send billions to hell for stupid little reasons like you think he does, then he does not deserve my worship, or yours. You can continue to be a slave if you want, just keep out of our government and schools.

Now I would just ask you what makes you think you've lived a virtuous life that God would accept?
