Well, considering Eden was in Africa around where Egypt is...The river that closed from Eden into the Garden was in fact the Nile River...
I believe it is normally associated with the Tigris and Euphrates. I have never heard it associated with the Nile. Not that I care ... it's a mythical place in any event.
That came from the Mormon religion...The Amerinds genetically trace back to a tribe that still exists in Siberia...There has been no Semitic genes found in any Amerinds to date...
No, the idea predates the LDS church. Lewis and Clark were asked to be on the lookout for the lost tribes.

Yes, there are four rivers mentioned. The Tigris, Euphrates, and two others. I have read a theory that the other two rivers referred to are now under the Mediterranean Sea, where their beds can still be detected, sort of like the ancient "Hudson Canyon" extension of the current river that runs down off the coast of NJ.
So the place where Eden was supposed to be may very well be under water.
Someone I know, a Christian, said that Adam and Eve were black because humanity originated in Africa. What do you think?
Very possible. I'd say even probably. I don't know that it really matters, to be honest. I have heard though, that some pseudo-Christian religions have taught that Cain's skin was colored black to be a mark of his guilt for killing Abel.
"Travelling to somewhere" and making a post-resurrection appearance are two different things.
Although travel WAS possible and likely to have occurred before that time as dmonstrated by Heyerdahl.
