The tolerance poster child? I will add that to Sugar Britches. I tolerate you, Viz. I correct you. I want you to think.

Now about my poster. I think I should go Au Naturel for the photo shoot, except for pearls. Do you see it? Oh, and red toe polish.

I will take five, 8x10 glossies, and five wallets. You can frame the poster for your Church entry. I will be a big hit. I guarantee. I look awesome in pearls.

Yes, that happens.

It is a busy network ...you have your own thoughts and imagination...you
have Aunt Betty on the Other Side suggesting you not turn left.
You have a couple spirit guides, then, guardian angels...then the Holy Spirit,
then the Big One the Father Himself. ( I left out what people call mischievious spirits,
they don't exist in my space)
When it is the Father...He actually says, "I" or "Me"; huge difference as you
are breathless in awe and the room changes pressure with an electrical 'charge', so to speak,
...your guides or angels just say,
"You have that noon appointment today, remember."

Person: "I hear voices in my head telling me things."

Everyone: "Dude, that's messed up. Seriously. We're talking mental illness."

Person: "It's God who is talking to me."

Everyone: "Oh, why didn't you say so! Totally normal, Dude!"

That's what the fable says. But we're you there to know for sure?

No, but according to the story, Abraham was fully prepared to kill his son, believing that it was God's will.

Today, we'd call that a severe mental illness.

It's barbaric and delusional. There's really no sugar coating it.

No torture involved. But we do see the strong faith of Abraham and Isaac displayed in it.

Considering God doesn't tell people to kill their sons as a typological teaching of a coming messiah, I can see how you might be confused. But no--Abraham was not mentally ill.
