Only in Florida. Well, officially, but really the Pensacola area is much more like Alabama as opposed to the rest of Florida. (The further north you go in Florida, the more southern it gets.)

One can't make this stuff up. Guess she thought she was in a self-driving Google or Tesla car. Who have a much better track record at driving while the driver has his/her eyes closed than praying women.

Too much prayer:

Tesla driver sleeping: He was OK.

Being a believer does not exempt people from doing stupid things. Neither does being an atheist.

Had to rep you for that one.

No...nowhere is there a command to "let Jesus take the wheel". Nor is there any kind of a promise that we COULD do something stupid like that.

Thank you. I think it's pretty common for believers to pray while they drive. Obviously the vast majority keep their eyes open. Plowing into a house or store or another car while texting is fairly common.

Yes, I often pray as I drive and yes, I keep my eyes open. There is no instructions in the Bible telling us to close our eyes while praying.

Could have saved Google and Tesla, billions on driverless car technology if this worked.
