Nonsense. We study all of it. Have you ever tried to find out the reasons God did/allowed those things? What was the reason for the Great Flood?

It is presumptuous, and it is RUDE.

The POLITE default is mind your own business, stay off their property and for crying out loud, don't be banging on their doors and ringing their phones because you want to 'share' your 'story'.

You can stand on the street corner and hold a sign, but your right to free speech ends at the private property line.
I don't disagree.

I'll add a possible Reason #6:

Because God is in its infancy and like a newborn human, has potential - but is some time and growth away from recognizing and realizing that potential.

If everything in the universe - given time and beneficial circumstance - evolves, why not God?

The problem is that nobody in human history has ever seen any God. And there is no verifiable evidence that Jesus or anyone else had anything to do with a God.

There is also no evidence that any of the 100 billion+ humans that have lived and died ever came back to life or went to heaven.

All of it is simply based on belief and assertions.

I suspect my university studies of the bible exceed anything your preacher gave you.

It was a story.

Never happened.

Wake up.

Honestly, jeff, you're not actually suggesting that every one of the billions of Christians who have ever lived had God guiding the sperm of His choice into the egg? OMG, you ARE suggesting that!

Because people were sinful. So God killed everyone save 8 people, apparently unaware that future people would be just as sinful, even though He is all-knowing. Later, God "so loved the world" that he sent Jesus, but not during the time of Noah. In the time of Noah, God "so loved the world" so much that he drowned everyone, even innocent children. It is His way of demonstrating how precious all life is.
