Seems like pretty standard stuff to me.
That's the way man has always done it.
Of course...props to Genghis Kahn as a real standout!
We've got people still doing it now.
Why would it even be of any real note? How many people could they kill with swords and spears?
I mean...it requires science and technology (from a secular entity) to make something like, say, heavy bombs delivered by jets & missiles, or to deploy nuclear munitions that wipe out a million in the snap of ur fingers.
Religion could never be that "terrible"...something of that magnitude requires science and secular governments.
But it's not REALLY "terrible"...cuz then there are less people to split up the available resources.
See that? God makes it all work out!

You mean hundreds of disgusting things that MAN does. Cuz sinful man is disgusting to God. And the bible would be a book of lies if it tried to cover up what really happened.

Then there would be no point in giving man a free will. God works good out of bad- IF we cooperate.

The Bible is a book of exaggerations, tall tales, whoopers, etc. So lies wouldn't be at all surprising.

Yeah, the campfire story tellers didn't co-ordinate their whoopers very well, if at all.

Think of Star Trek and the "Prime Directive:

Quote:
it prohibits Starfleet personnel from interfering with the internal development of alien civilizations. This conceptual law applies particularly to civilizations which are belowa certain threshold of technological, scientific and cultural development; preventing starship crews from using their superior technology to impose their own values or ideals on them.
I think you've got the answer right there on why God doesn't prevent terrible thing. Unfortunately you didn't make an allowance for this possibility, cupper.

It was a fiction, you'll notice. And broken routinely by the Trekkers. You didn't make an allowance for this possibility.
