"grateful"?

Stupidity thrives in our world.

I love the Promethean imagery that built up around the figure of Satan in various circles.

From one point of view, humans chose mortality with wisdom and knowledge rather than a brain-dead immortality.

Or maybe it went like this:

Go to SMBC - don't sure me, please.

Proof? Please. I mean, I know better than that, but if you want to follow the Christian dogma, please, quote the creator. Or, at least, the Book of Genesis. Actually, not creator. Creator was in Genesis 1. God.
Lord God was in Genesis 2 and Adam was not created, but was "formed" from inferior materials. So, quote "former" please.
G.2
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in theGarden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

G1:

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (In G.1 there is no garden, mankind, as in MANY men and women, directly go to "filling and subduing'.) Can't help. IT"S WRITTEN.

You have a "creation" vs "formation" and "mankind" vs a single man with later added "helper".

That's of course if EVERY word in the Bible is God's word and is The Truth. Then you have a contradiction. Or, two gods, mankind created in God's image vs man formed out of lay materials along with animals made out of same.

Apparently, in G. 1, mankind already knew about intercourse and child birth as otherwise, how could they "be fruitful and increase in number"? hence, for them, it was not a sin, but another act of pro-creation.
On the other hand, Adam, designated gardener, was apparently unaware of what he could do to a woman, until "serpent" nudged the situation a little.

Actually, quote from Goethe has a lot of wisdom in it. A VERY limited perspective from standpoint of a short human life does not allow to see FULL results of ANY act, good or "bad". Hence, instant judgement on "right" or "wrong", "good" or "bad" may be quite the opposite in LONG historical term.
whoppers, try this. read The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov. It's amazing book. 3 themes. Last days of Yeshua Ga Notsri, aka Jesus. Love story between Master and Margarita (scratch that). "Satan" visiting Moscow of the 30s with his assistants. THAT is actually very interesting story.
Definitely worth reading, as far as you can tolerate all the Russian names and surnames.

Besides, world is not mono polar. Everything we know is a duality. Including humans. Hence, there can not possibly be mono polar "good" as "good" is understood only as opposite to "bad". Hence, for existence of "good" there should be existence of "bad".
Both seize to exist only in god, as god is totality. Neither. Both. Totality.
