And the Hebrew word used there, also means to know by experience, and is so translated multiple times throughout. He definitely knew by experience what they were capable of and so he was wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove. Peace
That was almost a good mental gymnastic there.
It was a silver cup, it was already expensive and he would miss it, it didn't need to be a divining cup too. He was literally reading the Pharos fortune and interpreting his dreams all clear aspects of divination, just like Bibliomancy. You diviners are always at each other's throats (dehumanizing and belittling each other, calling each other demon possessed although obviously both of your factions are misguided and erring) over these economic competition issues. If a Spiritualist gets someone to believe in Jesus as savior... are they not saved? What a bunch of manufactured problems. Where the hell do you think Spiritualists think they get their gifts from? The same place you think you get your weak (by comparison) Bibliomancy ability from. Most Spiritualists I know are (as most Bibliolaters and their Bibliomancer leaders) also fascist monotheists and don't believe that a heaven could be a democracy.

A demon could make much better use of an ensnaring book than of some Moderator cut: deleted spouting imaginative and little-followed emotionally convenient nonsense.

Nothing "gymnastic" about it. Joseph was blessed and he would not have been had he not been faithful to G-d's prohibitions against such things.

As for where the hell the spiritualists get their gifts, I KNOW first hand where they get them and they are DEMONIC, period, having cast many of them out and into the fire of the Holy Ghost to be consumed, over the years. Peace

Wait, so Joseph was blessed with divination powers for following divination prohibitions? If we were playing limbo, you'd win hands down. But the Spiritualists of this day can say the same exact thing. They could also say that Yahweh or Allah or w.e. blesses them (and protected them from demons/genies) because of their maintained faith and for not listening to demons. ...

But you are aware that everyone is different, since you wish to believe that Joseph was not DEMONIC, period. The Spiritualists believe that about themselves, you included with your weak version of divination which is Bibliomancy.

The Catholics could not cast out the demons of the Protestants, and vice-versa. Self-congratulatory and tribalist lies that bored and indoctrinated groups of people tell each other to believe in their immortality instead of believing in the reality of impermanence, which goes against their egos.
