Why does Bible god wait around until thousands of years have passed of "sinning" to bring about this "savior of sins" character? Why not have this Jesus come on the scene when the sinning began if god was so offended. The whole omniscience thing makes this even more illogical.
Jesus is a one time sacrifice. It's a necessity for any human to be saved at all. Those who are after Jesus can have the option to pick the New Covenant. Those before Jesus are subject to a covenant signed off by His blood in the credited form, more or less like today's credit card. The effect of His crucifixion is credited for a covenant to be signed covering the humans before Jesus. Without a covenant all humans are dead without exception in front of God's absolute set of Law.

To simply put, under God's absolute set of Law everyone is dead. However a covenant can identify the righteous from the wicked and to have the righteous saved. The righteous thus saved are said to be saved through Jesus Christ disregarding when they are born!

LMAO! Logic would dictate that those would be the VERY people that it would be meant for. After all, what on earth is the point of 'preaching to the converted'??

Maybe people find happiness in the journey instead of the destination, mistakes and all? Wonder drives man, answers do not. Once man discovered the sun was a giant ball of gas and plasma he didn't repeat the verse over and over for the next eon. "Well turns out the sun is gas and that's all there is to know"

He wondered what gas, how much gas, gravitational factoring, and how does the fusion actually work?

With free will you will fail, it's guaranteed. But with failure come knowledge, light and a path towards new understanding that replaces faith with proof that solidifies our beliefs of the world.

Yes, its very convenient to claim that because you don't buy into it, you aren't meant to understand it.

Kind of like Nancy Pelosi logic (not meant to spur a political discussion) "You must believe it to be able understand why you must believe it."
