Religion is a powerful, mind-altering drug. It can produce feelings of euphoria and have other psychological benefits.
But like any powerful mind-altering drug, there are potential dangers: the possibility of addiction/ dependence, loss of contact with reality, negative effect on families, strained relationships, and so forth.
In extreme cases, people under the influence of religion will kill themselves or others, as we saw on 9-11 and have seen throughout history.
In the 'end, we deserve what we get, either way you're walking.
Remember that feeling?
And if you recall this feeling was before Maria fell 'in love' with C. Plummer.
This is what I present to every soul here...if you are not feeling this elation, you are missing
why you were born.
..with songs they have sung for a thousands years...
The thing is...you know it...you know you are missing something....because that is what you were
meant to feel...that is Home. It really is that simple.
If someone asks, What's your point?....discuss.

Do you glow in the dark? Do you irradiate rooms into which you travel? If I look at you directly for a lengthy period of time, will I go blind? Do little birds and deer and butterflies follow you around everywhere you go? Do the birds and deer and butterflies get irradiated?

My version
"The wetlands are alive with the sounds of bull frogs"
Went for a walk couple of weeks ago and came upon a wetlands reclamation area where the bullfrogs were so loud we had to get closer to each other to talk. It was joyous to hear.
Tried to get an audio on here but my computer skills are pretty lousy.
