I don't wish to be prayed for and if you do it don't tell me and please don't bless me. It doesn't mean anything to me at all so you're just wasting words on me. I don't mean to be disrespectful in saying this even though it may sound that way.

When one believes that one has "all the answers" it makes life so simple, doesn't it?

I understand you mean well, but a god didn't make me. My father and my mother had sex and contributed the genetic material that became me. There was no miracle involved, and I am not an expression of the deity you believe exists.

I respect what you believe friend

we are a beautiful human being, full of qualities, that's what matters.

Sons of man or sons of god?

It depends on what you believe, for me God's behind everything including sex and genetic material, he's the intelligence that guides creation, the force of gravity that keeps us on earth, the spark or life that supports us both you and me, the power behind our reasoning, emotions, breath, etc.

Hmmmm I don't like the word deity too much, I prefer Cosmic Consciousness, The absolute inmanifested, Spirit, Parambrahma or Ishvara

Much Love and Lighty!

I still dont understand how an infinite deity is easier to believe than an infinite universe.

Because that universe is God's body or God's dream.

it is not just about belief, it's about knowledge.

Close your eyes, disconnect the senses, turn on intuition and feel God's presence

And when we express our belief in God, we often times are accused of being stupid.

Generally, that immediately follows after someone is told that they should just kill themselves because they don't believe in a god.

It cuts both ways, you know?

Yes, but if you told a theist that they are stupid because they told you to kill yourself because you don't believe in a god, then that label would be justified.

Indeed. And there are a slew of other things I've been told simply because I'm an atheist, and they're pretty darned stupid too. There are idiots of all philosophical persuasions, I'm sure we can agree on that at least.
