yes, we can add jewish ancestors, polish ancestors, or whoever's ancestors when we are talking. But the fact is, he has been clear about "ancestors" meaning all people before us in times like iron age, bronze age, or whatever age.
If we are talking about christian's, we are correct in bringing up jewish bronze age people's when needed for communication.

We were discussing the originators of the Christian religion who were ancestors of today's Jews because Jesus was an ancestor of the Jews. But my characterization of the mindset of OUR ancient ancestors is accurate and applies to ALL of our ancestors during that era. The deletion was probably due to your inappropriate taking of it as an insult to today's Jews, as you still want to do.
