Highwaystar88; Totally off topic. I'm guessing your familiar with Deep Purple?

One of my favorite bands of all time.

OK, here's an analogy: I believe in cosmic bunnies, who are watching over Earth, and they give good luck to all bunny-keepers. I know it's true because I can talk to them. You want me to prove it? Well guess what, if you don't wanna believe it, then fine, leave! Hmmpphh.
Actually, it goes like this: "You can't prove that cosmic bunnies don't exist".

Using that logic, all kinds of weird and wonderful ethereal entities do exist.

No. Some people and some online (hee hee) sources state that Islam and Christianity share the same 'God'. But ask a hundred Islamists and a hundred Christians if they subscribe to that allegation, and it's unlikely that any will agree. Starting with a false premise can take one for a wild ride.

Did both religions not have a common junction with Abraham?

Again, some would say. But "some people" are hardly any substantiation when it comes to what counts: comparing the Koran to the Bible. Two very different accounts and teachings. No point looking for similarities beyond that.

The point is that both are stories with no bases in reality. You clearly are just choosing a flavor of ice cream, no different than a Muslim.

Then don't worry about it. It's my choice, freedom, and liberty. I don't tell you how to live your life.

While adults still believing in Santa is disturbing, it is their right as a free person to do so. Carry on.
