That is not the hard problem as you defined it. "The other side, or the hard problem, which entails the non physical mind or spiritual aspect of mentality , is ignored as if it doesnt exist".

The hard problem is real and there is no accepted solution to it. Dennet simply denies its existence. The only special dishonesty here is your strawman attempt to pretend that ANYONE disputes that consciousness is a PRODUCT of the brain. No one does. What is in question is the nature of that PRODUCT. You think it is an illusion or will-o'-the-wisp but I know it is a real energic form that, like all energic forms, must be conserved or be transformed in some way. You have not proffered any transformation that would affect the consciousness produced by our brain after it is produced.
