Thats Dan Dennetts philosophy, ignore the hard problem by pretending it doesnt exist.
Roundly rejected by all, even his fellow atheists.
It takes a special kind of stupid to claim consciousness is an illusion.

That is not the hard problem as you defined it. "The other side, or the hard problem, which entails the non physical mind or spiritual aspect of mentality , is ignored as if it doesnt exist".

Pure invention that ignores all the other psychologists who have pointed out the initial question begging of the hard problem.

It takes a special kind of dishonesty to ignore all the work that indicate consciousness is a product of our brain.

The hard problem is real and there is no accepted solution to it. Dennet simply denies its existence. The only special dishonesty here is your strawman attempt to pretend that ANYONE disputes that consciousness is a PRODUCT of the brain. No one does. What is in question is the nature of that PRODUCT. You think it is an illusion or will-o'-the-wisp but I know it is a real energic form that, like all energic forms, must be conserved or be transformed in some way. You have not proffered any transformation that would affect the consciousness produced by our brain after it is produced.
