God repeatedly ordered defenceless women and children to be butchered with swords. God once killed 50,070 men because someone looked into the Ark of the Covenant. On another occasion God drowned everything on Earth, because He was angry with humans. What exactly is your concept of love?

How about a God that chose to become part of his creation so he could suffer and die on a cross to redeem people who hated him?

How about an omnipotent omniscient God who created humankind to fall, then sent his son to bleed and die in agony as the price of human redemption?

I'm not a "god" person, however I love this song!

George Harrison most likely did not view his lord as most religious people view their god. He was a dedicated follower of the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
