That may well be, but since the people who don't get it enjoyed a sometimes lethal degree of dominance for centuries and even today seek to impose their views on others, even down to the law and people's bodies, it's important to not close our eyes and trust that the Universe is cuddling them in its wise and protective hand and we are all where we should be.
Evolution has to happen somehow, including social evolution. That much is on us. In order for you to even be able to say what you just did without being beheaded burned to death, an awful lot of people had to risk, and lose, everything for centuries. So yes, we need to speak out at times, to keep from sliding backward. That is just my opinion.
