A former religious leader use to always remark not to worship him because he stated he did not have a heaven or hell to place anyone in. I never really agreed with his statement because we can make life on earth a slice of heaven and/or hell for ourselves and/or others.
With that said, no your belief in Santa doesn't bother me.
Yes, it bothers me because I'm jealous. I remember asking him Please Not to bring me certain things as a young teen but got one of those chaste but semi-sheer white blouses that needed a camisole and with a lace edged peter pan collar and short puffed sleeve anyway.

Interesting. ...when my kids get on one about what they want for Christmas, I always tell them "Santa knows best and what you need". So, maybe Santa is similar to a Dad / Abba type figure, and it seems this maybe the context you're thinking of and exercising faith in, and are therefore reaping just what you need and when you need it. I'm reminded that everything that comes to me is for me - it's neither good nor bad, but just what was ordained.
Am I close?, Or do.you mean you're posting letters off to the north pole asking to win the lottery, etc., ...and now you're rolling in more money than you can spend....?

Seems most of the people on this forum think God is like Santa...so seems logical. There are a few threads that accuse God of being neglectful because he didn't act the way they supposed he should.
