Huh? Everyone in the world got sunrise today, albeit it at different times.

This planet, anyway...

I just happened to have a camera in my hand.

Yes, of course I took the picture. That was the whole point of my post, lol. Whether you believe there's a deity or not, you can't stand at the edge of the continent at sunrise and not feel something.

Glad you enjoyed it.

This is the REAL Jersey Shore, folks.

It is pretty.

If the sunrise didn't happen, wouldn't it most likely mean you would be off to paradice?

Does paradice have something to do with craps? I prefer Let-It-Ride myself.

If the sunrise didn't happen, it would mean everyone and everything on the planet would be dead. We can't live without the sun.

No sunrise today for those in the far north. And usually not during the winter between Portland and Vancouver 😀

Nah, even they're getting SOME.

Here's the sunrise/sunset times for Barrow, Alaska, today.

https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/barrow

We're having a couple of unseasonably warm days here in coastal NJ. It was in the 60s yesterday and today. I saw that it was going to be a clear sky, so I set my alarm to get up and drive over to the beach (about 15 - 20 minutes) to catch the sunrise at 7:01.

I get to see venus, jupiter and saturn. on my way to work at 6:30.

did you know that people that study the universe from earth to the cosmic web are more inclined to believe we are part of a larger more complex system than biologist?

punch up images of landscapes and look at valley's. and some people are still holding out saying we are not in a system of life. But, those numbers are dropping fast as we learn more.

I'm with going into nature. The closer you get to nature, and away from mankind, the more likely you might encounter and "hear" God. That's not pantheism, but purifying oneself to a location where conditions might be best. And that's going from personal experience too. Surrounded by people and stuff; typically nothing. In a beautiful area with no sign of man in sight; subtle and deliberate communications. Getting away from stagnation and noise, and towards freshness and dynamism, are key.

Seek God yourself. You'll never find him through other people.
Why can’t you do both?
