I mean you have a Hindus, Jews and all their sects Reformed, Conservative Hassidic....Islam and all their sects...Sufi, Sikhs...
Then the many types of Christian beliefs...Virgin/No, Virgin...Savior came on his own/No, sent by his Father....to die for all sins/no he was murdered....and so on...
Same for Buddhism!
Same with Atheists...the casual atheist/ the Atheist With a Cause

Sikh is NOT part of Islam.
Sufi is part of Islam.
Sikh is not part of Islam.
Sikh is a Dharmic religion from the Indian subcontinent

Generally believe there is no afterlife (but kinda hope there is), and am open to it's eventual discovery if it exists, etc. If a Deity comes down from the heavens, ancient astronauts reappear to check on the defective models they abandoned on this planet, etc. I'll say "well looky there, now who's been the wrong one all these years? Oh well, I'm only human after all"
No cause or agenda, and I don't try to convert folks to Agnosticism....

I started as an Evangelical Christian. Then I became a Liberal Theist for several years.
Now I've settled on Liberal Christianity, which could be applied to many different denominations.
I am learning to have a live-and-let-live attitude. People living in the western hemisphere should certainly follow an eastern religion if they wish. On the other hand, I like the idea of Muslims converting to Christianity as they enter the west. Why? Because it's really about cultures understanding more about each other, which is what is really happening beneath the surface.
