Did we con the powers that be, or did a mod get sick of your ignorant and arrogant BS? <- This is a rhetorical question.

Those things are what his belief hinges on.
Or the latest science on consciousness and abiogenesis.

get that man a cigar.

Sometimes, when people use the word "GOD", I just remove it from what they are saying and see if what they are claiming lines up with the science.

Like

"we are ll connected"
"I fell connected to something larger"
"if we all prey it might change things."
"love thy enemy"

or

"made in 6 days"
"glbt are abominations"
"rose from the dead for our sins"

the word "god" is not a measuring device to determine the validity of those claims. How would a fundy theist talk about those things? How would an anti-religous/god talk about them? they both use the word "god "as the meter stick.

That is NOT how peer review works.

I am an anti-religious believer? Theist, right?
Does that count for anything?

It's clear that you know what you are talking about in that regard, Trans.

My guess is when push comes to shove you answer to truth, justice, and liberty to all first. A group of people sharing experiences about the universe is ok with you ... I am sure of that. I would bet money on it. You would answer to that Even before your god.

I have never heard you say, or even suggest, that we should be basing "how the universe works" on your statement of belief about god. In fact, you seem to be just the opposite. You seem like a person that bases what they believe on what they know, what they have experienced, and accept any new information to weigh accordingly. And, most importantly, will adjust their belief according.

we all have over laps Miss H. Its the personality types that we would list for a literal religionist that are in atheism and trying to save the rest of us with their statement of belief about god that I worry about.
