He hated Christianity so much that he ruled over tons of Christians and constantly told them he loved their Christianity, so much better than anti-Christian Judaism.

That's gotta be some hate, being elected by Christians and having mostly Christians following your orders.

Hitler hated Judaism. But he loathed Christianity, too.

Bullock, in describing Hitler as a “rationalist and materialist,” quotes him in a wartime conversation with aides as saying:
The dogma of Christianity gets worn away before the advances of science ... Gradually the myths crumble. All that is left to prove that nature there is no frontier between the organic and inorganic. When understanding of the universe has become widespread, when the majority of men know that the stars are not sources of light, but worlds, perhaps inhabited worlds like ours, then the Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.

By 1942, Hitler vowed, according to Bullock, to “root out and destroy the influence of the Christian Churches,” describing them as “the evil that is gnawing our vitals.”
“I can’t at present give them the answer they’ve been asking for,” Hitler said. “The time will come when I’ll settle my account with them. They’ll hear from me all right.”
But first, he had to finish off the Jews.

You're right, of course. He hated Christianity. But he did use it to further his agenda.

But it's too much to expect people around her to be objective and see that. It doesn't serve the narrative.

yeah, i wondered that myself, but I was more of a how did they all let that happen. the times must have been so bad, ww1 people had to lose sight of some humanity in that thing. why didnt the non Christians?

the fact is hilter was wacky. equating him to religious extremism, as apposed to people with extreme thinking, is as silly as equating Stalin to atheism.

Obviously you didn't hear about Bonhoeffer's assassination plot.

But it doesn't fit the atheist narrative. Nothing truthful ever does.

I think Christians, like most, preferred not to believe such atrocities could be committed by humans upon their own. Until they were faced with the horrific truth of the death camps.

He hated Christianity so so much that he outlawed Athiest clubs and Jehova's Witnesses but allowed historically "more German" Christianities to flourish with tax-breaks and State support.

Assassination (and weapons of mass destruction use) IS a historically "Christian" thing, just a sober fact. Jesus would applaud.

Why do certain skeptics make up lies then claim what they say is truth? Shameful!
