Too easy. Any Christian that does something wrong - they aren't "Really" Christians. Just as a God -believing dictator who admittedly wasn't that enamoured of Christianity, but was certainly no atheist, cannot be a God - believer because anyone as bad as that has Got to be an atheist, right?

Bullock, in describing Hitler as a “rationalist and materialist,” quotes him in a wartime conversation with aides as saying:
The dogma of Christianity gets worn away before the advances of science ... Gradually the myths crumble. All that is left to prove that nature there is no frontier between the organic and inorganic. When understanding of the universe has become widespread, when the majority of men know that the stars are not sources of light, but worlds, perhaps inhabited worlds like ours, then the Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.

By 1942, Hitler vowed, according to Bullock, to “root out and destroy the influence of the Christian Churches,” describing them as “the evil that is gnawing our vitals.”
“I can’t at present give them the answer they’ve been asking for,” Hitler said. “The time will come when I’ll settle my account with them. They’ll hear from me all right.”
But first, he had to finish off the Jews.

Constantine Hated Christianity and outlawed it, Martin Luther hated Christianity and his words were used by Hitler to convince the German people to commit genocide against the people who kept the worship system of Messiah.

Modern Christianity in Constantine's day, it had nothing to do with the religion Jesus came practicing and teaching, Constantine outlawed the 7 feasts of Christ where a Christian would be in serious trouble if he was caught keeping the Passover of Christ, if he was caught keeping Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur or the feast of Tabernacles designed for Gentiles.

What Constantine and Martin Luther did, it only led up to Hitler being able to do what he did, they all stood against God's commandments, against the 7 feasts of Christ, against any Gentile brave enough to follow Christ.

For 2000 years the church spewed Anti Semitism, anti God rhetoric against anyone brave enough to follow the ways of Christ.

However it was the government's of both the US and Canada that refused German Jew refugees from safety and sent them back to Nazi Germany and they were Christians.

And it were the atheists of USSR that were mostly responsible for defeating Hitler's army,

Perhaps all Christians should remember this thread the next time you blame atheism for Hitler, Stalin etc.

Hitler killed millions and invaded other countries in the name of Christianity the same way Stalin killed millions and occupied other countries in the name of atheism.

Hiller did not scapegoat the Jews for Germany problems in a vacuum. The Allies left Germany broke and broken after WW1 and in Europe for centuries it was common for Christians to blame the Jews for every problem.

It doesn't really matter if Hitler was Christian or not, or that one Christian tried to assiginnate him, 5he majority of the German population were Christians and antisemitism in Europe was Christian. And Hitler was not, as some on these forums claim an atheist.

God intentionally put both Hitler and Stalin in power, so I don't see what the fuss is about. It's clear that God approved.

But of course all true Christians turned their backs upon George Bush and elected John Kerry.

The above is what someone quoted Hitler as saying. Here are a few thing that Hitler is actually quoted as saying himself.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord." (Mein Kampf, Pg. 25)

We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out.
- Adolf Hitler, Speech in Berlin, October 24, 1933

Adolf Hitler: Acting According to God's Will
I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 2

Adolf Hitler: Thanking God
Even today I am not ashamed to say that, overpowered by stormy enthusiasm, I fell down on my knees and thanked Heaven from an overflowing heart for granting me the good fortune of being permitted to live at this time.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 5

Adolf Hitler: Deutschland Über Alles
I had so often sung "Deutschland über Alles" and shouted "Heil" at the top of my lungs, that it seemed to me almost a belated act of grace to be allowed to stand as a witness in the divine court of the eternal judge and proclaim the sincerity of this conviction.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 5

Adolf Hitler: God's Grace Smiles
Once again the songs of the Fatherland roared to the heavens along the endless marching columns, and for the last time the Lord's grace smiled on His ungrateful children.

- Adolf Hitler reflecting on World War I, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1, Chapter 7

Adolf Hitler: Fulfilling God's Mission
What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and independence of the Fatherland so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the Creator.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 8

Adolf Hitler: Fate of God
But if out of smugness, or even cowardice, this battle is not fought to its end, then take a look at the peoples 500 years from now. I think you will find but few images of God, unless you want to profane the Almighty.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 10

Adolf Hitler in Conversation with Cardinal Michael von Faulhaber:
The Catholic Church should not deceive herself: if National Socialism does not succeed in defeating Bolshevism, then the church and Christianity in Europe too are finished. Bolshevism is the mortal enemy of the church as much as of fascism. ...Man cannot exist without belief in God. The soldier who for three and four days lies under intense bombardment needs a religious prop.
