Who are we to question God?! God works all things after the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11). God is not bound by any standard of conduct you or anyone might wish to impose on Him. On the other hand, as His creatures, we are entirely subject to His statutes and decrees. He should be obeyed and feared without protest.

There is clinical death, I know a Jehova Witness who was clinically dead for a few minutes, he experienced nothing, interestingly NDEs seem to reflect the personal beliefs of people, JWs believe in a physical ressurection (as it is biblical) and in no immediate afterlife after death, among JWs NDEs are rare as far as I know while Buddhists have Buddhist NDEs, Muslims have Muslim ones and so on ...

It is not about questioning God but the teachings of men, there are many men who presumptuously teach doctrines they declare divine to raise themselves about others and rule over them by the infliction of fear. And when you question them, they say you question God, when in fact you question the doctrines of mere men.

These are beliefs based on beliefs; there is no proof.

I really like your post.

Over in the politics thread, and to a lesser extent in the great debates thread, I often point out to a few people that it's odd that anyone would not want justice...social or otherwise. So bravo to you!

Who are we to question god?

Well, to begin with, some us don't believe in god.
But beyond that, we are people who actually think.
And well, he doesn't seem to strike down non-believers any sooner than he does believers.

I do not fear a loving God. I do not fear death.

The Bible is our authority; the teachings of men are worthless.

Does God love the sinners in hell? The Biblical answer is "no." In fact, God hates all workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5). How will you escape God's wrath, as all have sinned (Romans 3:23)? The only way to escape condemnation to be in Christ Jesus; for those in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1).
