If it wasn't for the edicts Constantine issued authorizing the mass murder of Manichean Christians, Nestorian Christians, Assyrian Christians, Coptic Christians and others, you belief system would be different.

Then if Emperor Theodosius doesn't ban all religions and make christianity the only legal religion, you would never have heard of christianity.

And if had, you'd be ridiculing it like you ridicule mythology.

If Emperor Justinian of the Eastern Roman Empire doesn't issue an edict in 533 CE naming John the Bishop of Rome the chief persecutor of heretics, you'd never know anything about christianity. It would have died out long ago.

John, with his new found powers, immediately begins exiling and murdering clergy who don't kiss his ass.

And then there's Charlemagne.

And the Holy Roman Empire.

Christianity only survived because of its murderous use of force and government backing.

Theistic dabbling in the murky bathwater of Quantum Woo in hopes to convince people there is a baby in there is becoming harder as science clears out the murk from the bathwater. But still the argument from woo apologetic gets trotted out out, just like Nebraska man and seashells on mountains.

Unsubstantiated faith - Claim. and an irrelevance, too.

I can't remember who it was, but someone wanted me to post another informative video. Sorry for the delay. Here it is...

The real question is- 'Is there any truth in the Gospel - Jesus' before we do videos drawing conclusions from it.

Yes, I've been to a few different forums and it's basically the same on every public forum where religion discussed. The atheists tend to populate the "general" religion categories, but are less enthusiastic about forums dedicated to specific religions, or forums that adhere more closely to their comment rules.

The 'new atheists' were given a pep talk ("Atheists are intellectual superior to religious people") and marching orders ("Don't restrain yourself or act with common decency. Go forth and ridicule religion!") by the Four Horsemen.

The 'new atheism' wave of enthusiasm has tapered off quite a bit and there have been calls by atheist orgs to retreat from debates (below), but there are still plenty of die-hard militant anti-theists who are willing to expend large amounts of their time insulting strangers on the internet.

The next big thing for militant atheists to gravitate toward is Atheistic Satanism ('Satan-free Satanism'). The occult and satanism has permeated popular culture. This is the era of the anti-hero ("dark hero"). Good is bad, and bad is good! Yeah!! What could go wrong?

No More Debating
by Tyson Gill
American Atheist - Sept/Oct 2018

"Life in a reality-based world cannot
accommodate conversations about
nonsensical notions."

As has every successful movement before it, the atheist movement must now move past the debate stage because there are no new arguments to make and no new evidence to present. We have raised awareness, we have made our arguments, we have pointed out the evidentiary and logical flaws in religious claims, we have tried to educate, and we have even gotten angry.

Further debate only distracts us, helps to normalize ridiculous claims, and stokes unfounded doubts about objective reality itself. In order to break the cycle, we atheists must simply refuse to engage in nonsensical diversions, even with each other. We must reject assertions of religious belief, now matter how heartfelt, with no more compunction than we would claims of perpetual motion, psychic readings, or leprechauns. We must quit disputing creationists and no longer treat faith-healing as a mere cultural difference. Let’s forget about conducting experiments to disprove the power of prayer, and stop deliberating over the Bible’s inconsistencies as if they matter. Instead, we must quietly assert, through our refusal to engage with these ideas, that the reality-based world has moved on. This stance is already standard for any number of groups who hold bizarre beliefs. We’re not conflicted when we denounce statements of Holocaust denial. We no longer treat sincere beliefs about white supremacy as legitimate. We refuse to be open-minded about a flat Earth. We no longer debate the pros and cons of slavery or racism or women’s rights.

Of course, we cannot eliminate delusional beliefs altogether, but we are able to marginalize them so that their influence is kept to a minimum.

What do you think? If this reason is wrong and it does not contain the truth, then why has it endured for so long? Why is it the greatest selling book of all time?
(The responses will be revealing.)
Jesus taught Scripture is religious truth as per John 17:17, and we are to spread what he taught world wide.
Because of God's people proclaiming the good news of God's kingdom of Daniel 2:44 on such a vast international scale today as never before in history shows No enemy ( within or without ) has been able to get rid of the Bible or Bible people.

He's too darn busy trying to figure out how to overcome that iron chariot that keeps besting him.
