Given your religion's history of oppression from the evil application of secular laws, I completely understand your resistance to secular law. But absent any evil intent in the secular laws, there is little justification for your refusal to comply when the result of that refusal is in some part itself evil. If it was a Jewish wedding for a Jewish couple, your refusal could be justified. But for any wedding other than a Jewish one, it is just discriminatory mistreatment. All weddings do not have to comply with your Jewish rules for a wedding.

There was a time in the U.S. when anti-miscegenation laws made interracial marriage a crime. The people who supported those laws defended their views based on their religious interpretation of the Bible. There are people even today, who would like to see a return of the old anti-miscegenation laws in this country.
