That's it -for those that believe in God - of any religion.
Where do you think God is? Or where have you experienced God, directly?
If you believe you can experience God - where abouts would that be then?
Thanks
I could put a poll up, lol! If this helps here are some ideas to get you started:
In the sky
After death
In my friend
In a flower, a sunset, a baby, nature
Inside me
All around me
All around me and within me
In my heart
In my mind
He's God. The Creator of the Universe. The Alpha and Omega. He was there in the beginning (and for eternity prior) and will be at the end (and eternity after).

I agree. But, this doesn't answer the question, BF. But, thanks for participating.

Sorry. It's morning. My reading comprehension was a bit bad there. I thought you asked WHO God is.
Where is he? He's omnipresent. He's everywhere. He's not IN anything, nor is he his creation, but he's everywhere.
Psalm 139:7-12
"Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you."

I SO agree - I have done/said silly things before coffee on here!
I had to have a mod change an entire new thread recently!
Favorite Psalm of all time - was the second thing that came before my eyes - a funeral card -
that opened me to so much wisdom in the Bible. The 1st was Isaiah on a refrigerator magnet.
Really changed the direction of my focus...early 2000s.
I would say what you said, tho, contradicts itself - omnipresent, yes - yet not IN anything.
How's this.. a ray of sunlight is not the actual Sun itself---is that what you mean?
Again, thanks for posting.
I'm an atheist as you know, so I don't believe god is anywhere, but I was under the impression that theists believe god IS everywhere, god IS everything and everything IS god?
But now that you raise the question perhaps I'm wrong about that?

The Bible says that God is omnipresent--so he's everywhere. The Bible does not say that he is everything, though. It does say that he created all things. That's Christianity, though. When you say "theism", it could mean a wide range of things.
