Ya gotta read the right books to "hear about it" more than in the Genesis record, which is redacted from the historical accounts the patriarchs kept, from Adam on down. There is only one race of human being kind, called Adam.
Cain's wife was a sister. Cain, BTW, was black. Adam was white, Eve was black, Seth was red -deep bronze red.
Noah was white, Shem red, Japheth white, and Ham black. There was no genetic isolation of the tribes until after the confounding of the mother tongue at Babel, after which the tribes began to scatter over the earth [by tongue, not by color]. At the same time as the scattering, the earth began to be divided apart to keep man from being "one" and "doing whatever they imagined to do"; and also, the lives of man were cut short in years for the same reason. This all began at the fall of the tower, and worked out over many years, to what we have now.
It's because half of the Bible is filled with BS. Who cares how races came about? Let's all just learn to live with each other and accept each other for who we are and not the color of our skin.
